Sailor Take Warning: Tantalising Tropical Adventure - Unexpected Romance and Zombie Folklore Take Centre Stage in Suspense Laden Caribbean Tale
With Sailor Take Warning the launch pad for his latest Love and Danger in Paradise series, Jonathan Ross captivates with a tale that finds Angela Spencer embarking on a solo sailing trip to Guadeloupe. Delighting in her post university adventure, everything changes in an instant when Angela’s yacht is attacked by pirates. A moment that calls for Angela to use her shape-shifting abilities to full effect, life takes further unexpected, dangerous, and dramatic turns when love and other troubles loom on Angela’s Caribbean horizon.
A tropical tale that delivers literary escapism in spades, Jonathan Ross’s latest offering (and first book in his latest planned series) immerses readers in the unexpected and twist-laden Caribbean adventures of its sailing, and spirited protagonist, Angela Spencer.
A narrative that finds Angela navigating a very different course to the one first envisaged, the author’s detailed knowledge of his novel’s Caribbean setting, and appreciation of its enthralling Zombie folklore, adds both credibility and allure to his storytelling.
Bursting with island magic, suspense, action and romance, Sailor Take Warning (a title inspired by the century’s old weather forecasting adage, Red sky at night, sailors' delight. Red sky at morning, sailors take warning) is the author’s ninth published work of fiction and possibly his best yet. It also makes a perfect introduction to an author who has taken the Caribbean to heart.
